Hmmm, bit tricker than I had anticipated. Still at least weight not gone up. Only one day out this week, but which was a beautiful Sunny Sunday, very cold. Had a puncture and began to get pretty cold while I fixed it - new rear tyre I think as am getting a lot of punctures recently.
By the way, here is the tyre I use, a Verdestein Fortezza Tricomp. Think its fine but as it came fitted to my Bianchi I don't have anything to compare it to. Pretty woried about punctures with that broom waggon chasing, was thinking of taking 3 spare inner tubes but with the amount of time it takes me to change a tube the waggon will have caught me if I need them all.As the weather is so bad, while not riding have been thinking of a new bike - not sure what to get but will surely be a victim of advertising. Without any knowledge at all the front runners are: Cervelo carbon or a fancy Italian (Pinerello or Colnago). Looks like they are ludicrously cheaper in USA (40% less)... much be a catch somewhere. Have a look here: USA bikes
Good news today is that Rupert has signed up for Tour of Ireland in May, that makes all three of us with Paul already in. If we manage to do that we should be in good shape for Etape du Tour (four days of 100+ miles).
Christmas week looming, not expecting much on the weight front, going to have to be a serious weight loss attempt in January with half the rest of the population.
