March Roundup

Well, end of the second month of training.... so how have I done against my KPIs?

Weight loss: 2lbs (now 15st 0.4)
Fat change: +0.4% (now 27.0%)
Mileage: 196 (avg. 44 per week)
Training time: 12.5hrs ( avg. 3 per week)
Avg heart rate :118

Total height : 9,600 feet (2900m)
20k TT average wattage: 240 (+2)
Power/Weight ratio : 1.14 (+2.7%)
Box Hill: not done

Muscle mass :
Visceral fat :

Disappointing month, only excuse is the weather. 3 hours training a week is not going to get me up the Tourmalet and weight loss stalled as the graph shows. Something needs to change in April. However, just one indoor session on the spinning bike and average power for 20 miles up 2 watts, and with weight going down a bit overall a net power/weight gain of +2.7% which is pretty good.

Now that you've stopped work, you should be able to tuck in the miles. Got out on my bik ethree times - not much mileage, and wearing triple pants but it was a start. Have found a nast y little number to practise the hills. Lucy will be here today, so maybe a bi tof running/skiing this week. Scott may come to see us at the finish.

Michael, you are an inspiration to us all (all us fatties, that is)! By the look of it, you have me by 7 lbs, but getting in 80-100 miles/week now should help me catch up.

Thanks Scott, sounds like you are doing pretty well too on the weight front, and 80-100 miles a week is a good amount of cycling. So sorry you are not joining us in the summer, but how about doing Mt Hood with us rather than wait at the finish for the beers?
