Big day today.... broke the 15st mark for the first time. Been a few weeks coming but there you go. Down to eating not much as its not been a good week for cycling (and fat rating going up indicates I am fairly de-hydrated, but ho hum, scales don't lie). After last week's 100+ miles up in London on Saturday so no chance. However, brilliant ride with Rupert on Sunday. We extended our normal 22 mile route to bring it up to 30 miles. Fabulous sunny day, very few cars around and great views of the Hampshire countryside. Perhaps having a quite week helped (or possibly the weight) but felt much better on the hills.
This week off to Marrakesh for a week so no cycling opportunities. Not sure what to expect but just checking the weather, looks a bit chillier than I had thought.
Rupert and I begining to get concerned about the Tour of Ireland at the start of May... going to need to be a lot fitter for that.
